Assam: Dates for the Recruitment of Grade 3 and 4 Announced; Government Closer to Fulfilling Promise of 1 Lakh Jobs

The Assam government is making significant strides toward fulfilling its pledge to create 1 lakh jobs, with the announcement of dates for the recruitment examinations for Grade 3 and 4 posts.

The examination for Grade 3 positions is scheduled to take place on September 15 and September 29. The September 15 exam will be for candidates who have passed Higher Secondary in the third category.

The September 29 exam will be divided into two sessions: the first half will cater to graduate degree holders, while the second half will be dedicated to driver positions for matriculation passers.
The Grade 4 examination is set for October 27.

This year, around 18.5 lakh candidates are expected to compete for the Grade 3 positions, while approximately 13.7 lakh candidates are anticipated to vie for Grade 4 roles.

With these exams on the horizon, the Assam government is steadily advancing towards its commitment of creating a substantial number of job opportunities for its residents.
