Manipur: Unknown Assailants Hurl 2 Bombs At UCM Imphal Office

Unknown assailants hurled two bombs at the office of United Committee Manipur (UCM) at Lamphelpat, under Lamphel Police Station in Imphal West, Manipur.
As per reports, live rounds were also fired in the UCM office premises.
The incident took place shortly before 8 pm.
No injuries or casualties have been reported in the incident.
Imphal West Police teams quickly arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.
This incident marks the second attack on the UCM office since the outbreak of violence in Manipur.
On February 23, 2024, unidentified miscreants set the office on fire destroying everything within and reducing it into ash.
