A female student of Sankardev College in Assam Lakhimpur district sustained serious injured after a student of the same college threw acid at her.
The acid attack victim was soon rushed to the hospital in a serious condition. Meanwhile, the attacker is still on the run from police.
Fumed with the heinous incident, students blocked roads in front of the college demanding that the culprit be arrested at the earliest.
