Assam’s Mridu Pawan Das Appointed India’s Next High Commissioner To Rwanda

The Ministry of External Affairs has appointed Assam’s Mridu Pawan Das as India’s next High Commissioner to Rwanda.
Mridu Pawan Das, who is a 2004-batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, is currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
Mridu Pawan Das is an alumnus of Guwahati Public School and Cotton College.
He has an engineering degree from National Institute of Technology (then Regional Engineering College), Kurukshetra.
His father, late Kamal Das, was a retired senior accounts officer of the Guwahati Refinery.
