The custody of the four alleged members of the Hizbul Mujahideen terror network who were picked up by the Assam Police recently has been extended.
The alleged linkmen identified as Shah Nawaz Alam, Umar Farooq, Saidul Alam and Abhimanyu Chauhan were arrested by the Assam Police following the arrest of dreaded Hizbul Mujahiddeen cadre Qamer Uz Zaman on the 12th of September in Uttar Pradesh by the UP ATS.
Shah Nawaz Alam has been remanded to 14 days custody, while Umar Farooq and Saidul Alam each have been put to 12 days of custody.
