Students to Spend Only 7 Days for Independence Day Preps: Sikkim Education Dept. Directive

The Circular directs all schools to strictly follow the order
The Sikkim Education Department issued a circular today directing that school children should not be engaged for more than 7 days for any Independence Day-related activities.
The Education Department of Sikkim, in its circular, mentioned that students from the school are engaged in various activities for the Independence Day celebrations which go on for more than 15 days and affect their academic schedule.
The Circular directs all schools to strictly follow the order.
The Circular states, “It has been observed that the students from the school are engaged in various activities for the Independence Day celebrations which goes on for more than 15 days thereby affecting the academic schedule of the students.
It is hereby directed that the school children should not be engaged for more than 7 days for any Independence Day related activities.
This may be strictly adhered to.”
This new regulation aims to strike a balance between celebrating national events and maintaining the academic calendar, ensuring that students can participate in festivities without compromising on their studies.
