Health services in the Tripura Medical college is likely to be adversely affected following cease work strike by the junior doctors.
The doctors in the medical institute have resorted to sit-in-strike alleging differences in payband as compared with the doctors of the Agartala government medical college.
As per inputs, doctors of the Agartala government medical college receive monthly salary of Rs 18,000 while doctors of the Tripura medical college are entitled to a salary of Rs 12,000.
The agitating junior doctors alleged that they had moved the authorities several times to address the issue of differences in paybands.
