Concerns raised over quality of NCERT textbooks in Meghalaya schools

Months after the Meghalaya government adopted NCERT textbooks for classes 1 to 10 as part of the New Education Policy 2020, now questions has been raised on the quality of content of certain textbooks. Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma speaking to Northeast Live admitted that there were certain concerns. Minister Sangma also claimed that the State Government has taken copyright permission from NCERT for the necessary modifications in the textbook prescribed for the schools in the state.
