Tipra Motha should prepare for the Gram panchayat election on its own strength and merit, said Pradyot Debbarma

Tipra Motha founder and Royal Scion Pradyot Debbarma has made it clear that his party will contest the ensuing panchayat polls slated to be held sometime in August.

In an audio message to party leaders and supporters, Debbarma said that it is a must for the Motha to contest the Panchayat polls in order to make the voice of the Tiprasas staying outside the ADC areas heard and bring them under the ambit of Greater Tipraland.

“Today in village council election, the majority of parties want to an alliance with us, but in the Gram Panchayat election, they have told us that, as a regional party, we have no work outside of the ADC area”, Debbarma said.

“Why Tiprasa can’t dream big? Why the Tiprasa party cannot grow? The national party has permission to come to our region, but we are not allowed to go into theirs. This whole state was ours. Today we are thinking small so we are getting smaller”, Tipra Motha founder added.

“Tipra Motha should prepare for the Gram panchayat election on its own strength and merit. The party cannot progress if it only thinks about a limited area – don’t be scared I am with you. Let us start preparing for the elections on our own strength. If we are strong, people will come. I want people with clean background as candidates. Look for honest, clean people to be candidates”, Debbarma further added.
