Assam’s Nayanmoni Hazarika’s portrait of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika made of ashes gets his into the Indian Book of Records

Nayanmoni Hazarika hails from Assam's Lakhimpur district and he is a student of Biswanath College.
Nayanmoni Hazarika of Assam has made his mark in the India Book of Records by making a portrait of late music maestro, the legendary Dr Bhupen Hazarika popularly known as the ‘Bard of Brahmaputra’ using ashes.
Nayanmoni Hazarika made a large-sized portrait (Measuring 35 cm X 68 cm) upside down on white paper using ashes by burning a log of wood.
Born on October 17, 2024, in Assam’s Lakhimpur district, Nayanmoni Hazarika is a student of the 2nd semester of Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Biswanath College.
Education Minister Ranoj Pegu took to X to congratulate Hazarika for his achievement and extend him best wishes for future endeavours.
“Heartiest congratulations to Shri Nayanmoni Hazarika, a BA 2nd Semester student of Biswanath College for getting inducted into the “Indian Book of Records” for making a portrait of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika upside down on white paper using ash by burning a log of wood. My best wishes for future endeavours,” Minister Ranoj Pegu posted on X.
