14 candidates are in the fray but the key candidates are-
- Ruling SKM’s Indra Hang Subba. 35-year-old Subbais the sitting MP
- Opposition SDF has fielded former MP PD Rai. He won twice in 2009 and 2014
- Congress has fielded its president Gopal Chettri and BJP fielded Dinesh Chandra Nepal as its candidate.
- Citizen Action Party fielded its president Bharat Basnett
- Sikkim Republican Party’s candidate Kharga Bahadur Rai
Voter Turnout:
2024 – 80.03%
2019 – 81.41%
Number of Voters: 4.64 lakh
