Cruel: Parents burn 3-year-old child with hot oil for crying in Assam’s Cachar

The accused parents have been identified as Rajdeep Das and Matri Joba Das.

In a tragic and deeply disturbing incident in Assam, a 3-year-old child faced severe punishment simply for crying, normal behaviour for any child.

The parents, in an extreme act of abuse, poured hot oil on their son, causing him severe burns.

The incident has been reported from Sonai Road in Silchar, Cachar district of Assam today.

The child is currently undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH).

The accused parents have been identified as Rajdeep Das and Matri Joba Das.

Police registered a case against the duo and arrested them.

Investigation into the matter is underway.
