On Mother’s Day, NE CMs express their love and gratitude to their moms

They have expressed gratitude, love, and appreciation for the selfless love, care, and that mothers give.
They are head of states, hard pressed for time. But today on Mother’s Day Chief Ministers of some of the northeastern states have found out time to express their love and gratitude to their moms and celebrate their mothers.
Chief Minister of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and other ministers have also joined the celebrations and expressed gratitude, love, and appreciation for the selfless love, care, and that mothers give.
They have acknowledged the numerous sacrifices that mothers make and made them feel loved and cherished.
On this occasion, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared a childhood picture of his with his mother on X and expressed his love and appreciation to his mother.
“Mother , the one whose around our life revolves. To all the mothers, thank you for being such amazing people and doing your best in raising your children. The efforts never go unnoticed,” CM Sarma posted on X.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu also took to X and expressed love and gratitude for his mother on this occasion.
“उंगलियाँ पकड़कर माँ ने मेरी मुझे चलना सिखाया है, खुद गीले में सोकर माँ ने मुझे सूखे बिस्तर पे सुलाया है – हरिवंश राय बच्चन Wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to all the remarkable mothers! May your day be filled with love, gratitude, and cherished moments,” CM Khandu posted.
Minister for Water Resources, Assam, Pijush Hazarika also shared a picture of him on X and wrote “Always behind Maa.”

Wishing Mother’s Day to all the remarkable mothers out there, Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu wrote, “Mother’s are another form of God! On the occasion of #InternationalMothersDay, I offer my salutations and tributes to all Aai-Matri’s who play a pivotal role in enriching our lives with their wisdom, guidance and boundless love.”

“Motherhood is a gift from God; rooted in compassion, nurturing & endless sacrifices making the home & hearth a place of warmth & blessings. Mothers are the sustaining force for the family & society. We honour all mothers & those who play the role of a mother. #HappyMothersDay,” Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio wrote in a post on X.
Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton wrote, “On #MothersDay, we celebrate the incredible mothers who inspire with their strength, warmth, and unwavering love. They are the heart of families and communities, shaping the world in profound ways through their sacrifices and love. Let us remember to honour our mothers not just today, but every day, for their immeasurable contributions to our lives.”
“Happy International Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers. Today, let’s celebrate the love, strength, and endless sacrifices of mothers who shape our lives in the most beautiful ways. Without their love and affection, life has no meaning,” posted Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on x.
