Body of missing person found dead in southern Tripura’s jungle

The body was taken to the Kankrabon primary health center, where medical personnel confirmed his death.

The body of Uttam Das (50) who was missing since Friday, was found on Sunday morning in Mullatilla, within the jurisdiction of Kankrabon police station in Udaipur.

The circumstances surrounding his demise have sparked suspicions of foul play, prompting a rigorous investigation by local police.

The body was discovered nestled within the dense foliage of a jungle area in Mullatilla.

According to distraught relatives, Uttam had left his residence on Friday morning, presumably for work, only to vanish without a trace. Despite a massive search operation, Uttam could not be found till his body was recovered this morning.

The body was taken to the Kankrabon primary health center, where medical personnel confirmed his death.

Police have started an investigation into the incident.
