Fresh violence in Manipur, 2 CRPF jawans dead, 2 others seriously injured

As per inputs, the attack took place in the Naransena area and lasted from midnight until 2:15 AM this morning.

In a fresh escalation of violence, 2 CRPF jawans lost their lives while 2 others were seriously injured in an attack by armed men in Bishnupur district late last night, sources confirmed.

As per inputs, the attack took place in the Naransena area and lasted from midnight until 2:15 AM this morning.

The personnel who lost their lives are from the CRPF 128 Battalion deployed at the Naransena area in Bishnupur district.

Meanwhile combing operations are being carried out by combined team of security forces in and around the area where the attack took place. No arrests have been made so far.

The injured personnel have been rushed to RIMS in Imphal for treatment.
