Tripura: After villagers threaten to boycott polls, authorities start work to ensure facilities

The district magistrate Debopriya Vardhan told the media that the authorities are looking into immediately resolving the issue of the villagers.

After Northeast Live telecast the news that over 300 residents of Thungchrai ADC village, a remote hilly area of Sher Chandra Para, in Tripura have threatened to boycott the upcoming polls on April 26 in protest against the deplorable road conditions and water shortage in their area, the district authoritiers sprang into action and immediately began work in the village.
