Tripura village threatens to boycott LS polls. Here is why

The villagers claimed that this area has never received clean drinking water and people are forced to do with less than one litre of drinking water per day.

The estimated 300 residents of Thungchrai ADC village, a remote hilly area of Sher Chandra Para, in Tripura have threatened to boycott the upcoming polls on April 26 in protest against the deplorable road conditions and water shortage in their area.

The villagers claimed that this area has never received clean drinking water and people are forced to do with less than one litre of drinking water per day.
