Watch: Malaysian military choppers collide mid-air, 10 dead

In a horrific mid-air collision, two Malaysian military helicopters collided mid-air during a rehearsal for a Royal Malaysian Navy parade, the Malaysian navy said in a statement according to media reports.

“All victims were confirmed dead at the scene and sent to the Lumut army base hospital for identification,” an NDTV report said quoting the navy statement.

All the 10 dead were crew members. The mid-air accident occurred at the Lumut naval base in the western state of Perak at 9.32 a.m. Tuesday morning (0132 GMT), the navy said.
