Chief Minister Sangma was administered oath of office by Speaker of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Donkupar Roy.
Talking to newspersons after the swearing in ceremony the Chief Minister said that the last six months, the challenge was to take over the system and get into the momentum of things.
He however said that things have smoothened up and the main challenges have been the financial difficulties, pending schemes and the coming months are crucial as the government has initiated many schemes and policies.
He also informed that he intends to intensify visits to block and district levels.
