Sikkim CM blames SDF for 2023 GLOF and failing to bring 17th Karmapa Ugen Thinlay to state

Sikkim Chief Minister and SKM president Prem Singh Tamang launched a scathing attack on the opposition Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) on Tuesday, accusing the party of not facilitating the visit of 17th Karmapa Ugen Thinlay to the state. The SKM president also lashed out at the SDF and blamed it for the devastating Glacial Lake Outburst Flood (GLOF) last year and accused the SDF of using low-quality construction material in the construction of the dam.
