MZP’s drive against ILP violators in Mizoram; 424 individuals pushed back

The influential Mizo Zirlai Pawl has pushed back at least 424 ILP violators from Mizoram. The students organisation has pushed back the aforesaid number of ILP violators since August 16.

A statement issued by the student body said that at least 424 individuals violated ILP norms before being detected and apprehended by MZP volunteers during frisking of vehicles at three infiltration check gates in Bairabi town, Vairengte and Saiphai villages.
The MZP had been launching ILP drive since 16 August and began checking people entering the state from neighboring states at border check points in Bairabi, Vairengte and Saiphai since August 20.
