Bipalab Kumar Deb highlighted TIPRA Motha's vital role in promoting peace and development in Tripura

Former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb met TIPRA Motha founder and royal scion Pradyot Kishore Debbarma in his palace late last night to conngratulate him and his party on its decision to join Manik Saha led BJP government ahead of Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking to media after the meeting, BJP candidate from West Tripura constituency and Rajya Sabha member Biplab Kumar Deb has expressed his happiness about the inclusion of TIPRA Motha in the Council of Ministers of the Tripura Government and said that it will accelerate the all-round development of the state.

Bipalab Kumar Deb highlighted TIPRA Motha’s vital role in promoting peace and development in Tripura.

He said that the meeting also served to strategize for victory in both parliamentary constituencies- Eastt Tripura and Wst Tripura.

“Our ultimate goal is–Tripura’s all-round development. Today I met Pradyot Debbarma and we discussed on how we can stratagise for the development of the state in the coming days and how we can gain victory in both the parliamentry seats and the upcoming Lok Sabha election.”

The former Chief Minister took to X and shared series of photos from his courtesy meeting with Pradyot Debbarma and wrote, “Had a courtesy meeting with TIPRA Motha founder Maharaja Pradyot Bikram Manikya DebBarma ji and congratulated him on TIPRA Motha joining the Council of Ministers of the Government of Tripura.I have full faith that the inclusion of TIPRA Motha in the Council of Ministers of
Tripura Government will accelerate the all-round development and the peace and prosperity of the state under the guidance of Hon’ble PM @NarendraModiji.”

Yesterday, TIPRA Motha party MLAs Animesh Debbarma and Brishaketu Debbarma sworn in as Tripura cabinet ministers during a ceremony, at Raj Bhavan, in Agartala days after the party signed a tripartite agreement with the central and state governments.
