Meghalaya: SSLC, HSSLC exams to begin from March 1 and 4 respectively

Speaking about the arrangements, Rakkam A Sangma informed that there will be police officials, flying squad and supervising officers to ensure smooth conduct of examination.

Meghalaya Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma has informed that a total of 55,189 students will be appearing for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination and 34,335 students for the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) which will commence from March 1 and 4 respectively.
The Education Minister affirmed, Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) is well prepared to check if there is any attempt of question paper leak.

Speaking about the arrangements, Rakkam A Sangma informed that there will be police officials, flying squad and supervising officers to ensure smooth conduct of examination.

There are 108 centres for HSSLC examination and 159 centres for SSLC examination across the 12 districts of the hill state.
Speaking to newspersons, the Meghalaya Education Minister said, “There will not be any powercut this exam time. If there is a chance, we will make sure that this does not happen. The MBOSE is well prepared (to tackle question paper leak). We will be having police, officials, Flying Squads, as well as Supervising Officials, we have taken all measures to make things happen smoothly.”
