Fresh violence in Manipur: Heavy firing underway in Imphal East

There is no confirmation of any casualties so far but the situation is extremely volatile and tense in the area
Heavy firing is underway in Imphal East, Manipur.
As per sources, the gunfight broke out a short while ago between two armed groups and still underway.
Firing is said to be near the residence of Additional SP Operations located in the Wakhei area of Imphal East.
Sources said that sound of gunshots can be heard from multiple locations.
There is no confirmation of any casualties so far but the situation is extremely volatile and tense in the area.
