Joint meeting of Naga, Kuki MLAs in Guwahati

In a big development, Naga and Kuki MLAs from Manipur, came together in Guwahati for a joint meeting and deliberated on issues including the ongoing turmoil in the State as well as issues related to the Hills Area Committee.
The joint meeting comprising 5 Naga MLAs and 9 Kuki-Zo MLAs discussed on ways to bring back peace, the step forward as well as non supply of rations to IDPs besides others.
The Naga MLAs present in the meeting were MLA Leishiyo Keishing, MLA Ram Muivah, MLA Losii Dikho, Minister Awangbow Newmai and Hills Area Committee Chairman Diganglung Gangmei.
