At least two people were killed and 2 others are feared dead when a ferry boat capsized on Barak river near Sakawrdai village along the Mizoram–Manipur border.
27 people were on board when the boat capsized. Two bodies have been fished out from the river while two others were still missing.
One of the deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Lal-paw-liana who was working as Junior Engineer under the state PWD.
