Siddharth Dorjee and Tanya Musahary from Assam, has created sensation with their breath taking performances in dancing reality show Dance Deewane Season 4.
Bollywood actors Suniel Shetty and Madhuri Dixit who are the judges in the reality show are all praise for the talents from Assam.
First it was Siddharth from Dhemaji who won the hearts of both the judges as well as millions of Indians with his very first performance on the show.
The judges could not help but only heap praise on Siddharth for his energetic yet emotional performance on the popular Bollywood number “Lag Jaa Gale”.
Madhuri Dixit in her words of appreciation for Siddharth said, “What else can I say, it seemed that music was flowing in your body, not that the instruments created the music. You dance with so much ease, it was effortless, you seemed to flow with the music. It was amazing.”
Remembering both her sons who are college students now, Madhuri called Siddharth near her and she pulled his cheeks. The Bollywood diva said, “You are so cute… I wanted to do that, here are your chocolates. Your dance is like silky chocolate. I am so moved by this performance.”
To this Siddharth responded by touching her feet as a mark of immense respect.
Madhuri’s co-judge Suniel Shetty also lauded Siddharth for his exceptional skill. Prior to the performance, Suniel speaking to Siddharth said, “You look like a good dancer and you got the looks also. Are you ready to perform on this platform?”
Siddharth responded to this by saying a big Yes.
Soon after Siddharth’s performance Suniel said, “When you are happy, you understand the music and when you are sad you understand the lyrics, but his performance includes both. Through the performance you enjoyed the music and the lyrics, both. It happens very less that you can concentrate on both the aspects. You are very talented.”
But Siddharth struck an emotional chord at this juncture when he was asked as to with whom he had travelled to the City of Dreams-Mumbai.
With his eyes all well-up with tears, and show host Bharti Singh consoling him, Siddharth said, “My family does not support me performing dance. They think that I am not a good son for them. My parents think that nothing can be done through dance. Since 12 years I have started dancing and till now I do it alone (without parents’ support). Then itself my parents told that we will not support your dancing option. They do not even pay me, I reached here all by myself.”
However, Madhuri soon gave her words of encouragement for Siddharth. She said, “The Dance Deewane family is your family, we all are your family.”
Madhuri pointing to Bharti said, “Look your elder sister is standing by your side. I believe your family will surely come here once to witness your performance.”
Assam’s Tanya Musahary too rocked the stage with the extraordinary dancing skills that left the audience as well as the judges spellbound.
But it was a sort of heartbreak for Tanya as her mother could not witness her talent in Dance Deewane. Tanya’s mother decided to stay outside the studio since she is not used to loud music and suffers from hearing complications if exposed to it.
Tanya said, “I was young when she met with an accident. After that she encountered a problem. If she gets exposed to loud music, she suffers from headache for at least 15 days continuously. I wanted to become doctor and treat her, but since she loves to see someone dance, I chose dancing.”
Soon after Tanya’s rock solid performance on the popular dance number “Nadiyon Paar Sajan Da Thana” it was indeed an emotional moment for everyone, as Tanya’s mother could not stop herself from coming inside the studio after her daughter’s performance.
Hugging her daughter by her side, Tanya’s mother gave a brief of the struggles and challenges that both of them had to face so far.
Tanya’s mother said, “After the accident I was in ICU for a month and after that I was completely bed ridden for a year. Tanya spent her childhood in hospital.”
Both, Siddharth and Tanya have advanced to the next round in the dance reality show.
