The Congress is Arunachal is apparently unfazed by the recent desertions by party workers and speculations of sitting MLAs changing sides. Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Zirgi Kadu said, ‘It is election time and it is normal that members of political parties will switch to other parties. In Arunachal Pradesh, the primary reason for BJP participation is not the party’s ideology but rather its wealth and position in the ruling government.”
