Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Assam’s Lakhimpur district a special car has been brought in from Gujarat which will be used exclusively by the BJP in poll rallies across the state.

Modi is scheduled to attend a mega road show in Lakhimpur district on February 22 and Assam’s state BJP unit is leaving no stone unturned to make the road show in the state a grand success.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on February 7 had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the state many times before the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He added that the state government is scouting locations where rallies can be held.

On February 4, Modi had inaugurated and laid foundation of multiple development projects worth Rs 11, 599 crore in Guwahati.
