The Assam Police investigating the Dokmoka lynch attack in which two Guwahati youths Nilutpal Das and Abhijeet Nath were killed is now ready with its charge-sheet.

Top police sources told Northeast Live that the charge-sheet will be filed before the mandatory 90-day period expires on September 8.

A total of 48 people have been arrested in connection with the infamous lynch mob attack that had shocked the nation three months ago.

The sources added the police had prepared the charge-sheet after a thorough investigation and have left no stone unturned to come up with a foolproof case.

The accused have been booked under section 302 of the IPC along with other sections.
