Tragic: Brother-sister mowed down by speeding car in Assam

Both the deceased were mowed down by a speeding vehicle

Three persons lost their lives in a fatal road accident at Silapathar in Assam’s Dhemaji district this morning.

Among those deceased include a brother-sister duo who have been identified as Aja Chukrang and Jaya Chukrang.

The accident reportedly took place in the wee hours when a car mowed down both Aja and Jaya while the other deceased person is yet to be identified.

The car upon which the driver lost control also hit a 2-wheeler that led to the death of another person.

One other was rushed to the hospital. On the other the driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
