3-day Mongeet music fest begins in Majuli

Started in 2020 as a movement of arts and music, the festival aims to nurture upcoming musical talents of the state

Mongeet: The Soul Songs Festival, was inaugurated yesterday by acclaimed actor Adil Hussain in Dekachang in Majuli- thus turning the island into a classroom for music, poetry, craft, food, ingredients, culinary techniques and indigenous herbs. Started in 2020 as a movement of arts and music, the festival aims to nurture upcoming musical talents of the state.
