HM Amit Shah to visit Assam on Jan 20 to inaugurate Brahmaputra Riverfront project

Union Home Minister Shah will inaugurate a slew of other development projects during his visit to the state
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Assam on January 20 to inaugurate the Brahmaputra Riverfront beautification project at Panbazar in Guwahati, said Assam Water Resources Minister Pijush Hazarika today.
Speaking to media, Minister Hazarika said that Union Home Minister Shah will inaugurate a slew of other development projects during his visit to the state. He will also attend three government programmes in Guwahati including a passing parade programme of Assam Police at Sarusajai Stadium.
He said that the Union Minister will be welcomed at various locations by around 60,000 members of the BJP party.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today took stock of the preparations so far ahead of Shah’s visit to the state.
CM Sarma held a meeting with state BJP president Bhabesh Kalita and other party leaders at the PWD Inspection Bungalow in Amingaon.
During the meeting, CM Sarma took updates on the development works in various constituencies and municipality wards across the state.
“Ahead of Hon’ble Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji’s visit to Assam, HCM Dr @himantabiswa joined @BJP4Assam State President Shri @Bhabesh_KalitaR and other senior leaders at the PWD Inspection bungalow, Amingaon to review the preparations. HCM also took updates on development works in various constituencies and municipality wards,” Assam BJP posted on X.
