The much-awaited new academic building of Kohima Science College Jotsoma was inaugurated on Thursday by Nagaland MLA Kenizakho Nakhro. The new building, measuring 240 feet in length and 50 feet in width, has 36 classrooms and 2 sitting areas.
Speaking during the Inauguration, MLA Kenizakho Nakhro assured his support and cooperation in fulfilling the desire and aspiration of the college in the days to come.

He also added that the present students of KSCJ are fortunate to be in a position to utilise better infrastructure and hoped that the new building would inspire the students to work harder and dedicate themselves to attaining academic excellence.
Meanwhile, Principal KSCJ, Lily Sema, said the construction project had been one of the most stressful undertakings but had also been a wonderful experience. She said even though there had been financial constraints, they were never short of brilliant ideas for solutions because of which the college could have handled many difficult situations.
