As per the prevailing law and order situation in Arunachal Pradesh, Pasighat MLA Ninong Ering has appealed to the All Nyshi Youth Association to call off the bandh.

He further said that the corruption charges levied against Chief Minister Pema Khandu are a matter of probe. Ering went on to say that he will raise the issue during the assembly session.

It may be mentioned that the ANYA has called the bandh in protest against alleged corruption by the Pema Khandu government in the state.

To avoid a breach of law and order, internet services have been suspended in the ICR till tomorrow.

According to latest updates, there have been no reports of violence till now.  Police personnel have been deployed at a gap 200 metres across the ICR. 

All Nyishi MLAs and the apex body of the Nyishis, the Nyishi elite society, have distanced themselves from the ANYA bandh call.
