Tensions are high between the ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party and its alliance partner Bharatiya Janta Party in Sikkim. After locking horns with the SKM within the floor of the assembly, senior BJP legislator Dorjee Tshering Lepcha came out calling the alliance as not dignified and a mere eye wash.
Reacting on the counter blame by the SKM treasury bench on BJP legislators as they were part of the previous Pawan Chamling led Sikkim Democratic Front Government, Lepcha said, it is obvious to blame the previous government for their wrong doings, but at the same time it is the duty of the ruling party to rectify the mistakes.
On the issue of Limboo and Tamang seat reservation in the Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Lepcha said his party is ready to support the Government if they are really serious and comes out with proposals to provide seat reservation to the two communities.
