Late CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat will be cremated in Delhi Cantonment (Friday). Their mortal remains are expected to reach New Delhi today.

The bodies would be brought to his New Delhi residence on Friday. People will be allowed to pay last respects from 11 am to 2 pm. It will be followed by a funeral procession that will begin at Kamraj Marg and continue till the Brar Square crematorium.

A 3-day state mourning is being observed in Uttarakhand, where General Rawat was born.

In statement to the parliament defence minister Rajnath Singh informed that a Tri service inquiry has been ordered to investigate the crash.
