At a time when the NSCN-IM has resumed talks with the Centre to resolve the Naga issue, the group has cautioned all those who are spreading misleading statements in social media pertaining to the Flag and Constitution issue.
While, the NSCN-IM is engaged is still engaged in the official deliberations with the Government of India, it said that no conclusion must be drawn until anything is made official.
The NSCN-IM has issued a statement pertaining to the matter and clarified that no wild conjecture should be made out of the ongoing talks as nothing has been made official on the sensitive issue. Anything made official would conveyed by the group, the NSCN-IM stated.
In the meanwhile, the Government of India representatives led by Mr. AK Mishra and the NSCN talk team led by General Secretary Thuingaleng Muivah are leaving no stone unturned to find a way out of the imbroglio, the statement added. The NSCN-IM further added that till then no one should comment on the results of the political talks in equivocal manner and jump to conclusion, when the matter is under negotiation with all seriousness and sincerity.
