A circular issued by the education department said that the State government has decided to reopen all colleges and institutions of higher learning from September 14 on the understanding that most of the students have got themselves either fully or partially vaccinated by now.

Schools, however, will continue to remain closed till October 31.

In a fresh notification, the state education department observed that since students of colleges and higher institutes of learning are fully or partially vaccinated, it has been decided to re-open them.

However, all government and private schools will continue to remain close across the state as students below 18 years of age have not been vaccinated yet.
