A one-man enquiry committee has been set up to probe the suspected murder of a 12-year-old domestic help at Raha in Nagaon district.

The Governor of Assam has constituted a one-man enquiry committee headed by Moloy Bora, Commissioner, Central Assam Division, to enquire into the circumstances leading to the death of a 12-year-old domestic help in the house of Prakash Barthakur in Raha.

The committee is required to submit the enquiry report within 30 days.

It may be mentioned that a 12-year-old domestic help who hailed from Karbi Anglong district died of severe burn injuries at the residence of Prakash Barthakur last week. Police have arrested Barthakur and one other person in connection with the case.
