Mizoram Guv makes maiden visit to Hnahthial district

Mizoram Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai accompanied by first lady Reetha Sreedharan for the first time on Monday visited the Hnahthial district and attended official various programmes in the district capital.

After assuming office on 25th October, 2019 this is his maiden tour to the district. With this, the Governor has visited almost all the districts in Mizoram, except Serchhip district.
A formal interaction programme with district heads of offices was held at the Government Hnahthial College. Addressing the officials, the Governor stressed on the significance of their roles in driving the new functional district towards the goal of self-reliance and to fulfil the aspirations of the people for which the new district is being carved out.
Later, the Governor also visited the Krishi Vigyan Kendra and School of Agricultural Science, Hnahthial where he interacted with the students.
