Manipur: N Kayisii elected NPP president unopposed

Former minister and MLA N Kayisii has been unanimously elected unopposed as State president of the National People’s Party (NPP) in Manipur on Tuesday.

The Returning Officer of Central Election Authority and party General Secretary Mutchu Mithi made the declaration at the NPP State office.

According to Mutchu Mithi, the party received only one nomination for the president post. No one from the party has put any objection to the same.

The newly elected NPP President was welcomed by Deputy Chief minister Y Joykumar and former Minister L Jayantakumar along with other party members.
