In the spirit of the festive season, Nagaland police has sought to brighten the faces of needy and homeless people living on the streets by serving them hot coffee and snacks in the early morning hours of Christmas in Dimapur town.

The law-keepers have received widespread praise for their kind and thoughtful act, especially during the festive season.

Meanwhile, the churches in Nagaland were seen packed as people gathered in large numbers to attend the Christmas service in the capital.

While some churches opted to hold virtual services the church gates were open for those who wanted to attend the Christmas service. Unlike previous years the Christmas services were kept very short due to the ongoing pandemic and maintaining the laid down SOPs.
