Google and a host of other services provided by the platform faced disruptions on Monday evening. Prominent services such as YouTube, Gmail etc have stopped working for many users.

The company is yet to specify a reason for the outage. The tech giant had faced a similar outage in August this year.

On the G Suite status dashboard, Google said it is “aware of a problem with Gmail affecting a majority of users. The affected users are unable to access Gmail”.

As per the dashboard, other Google services like Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Meet have also been affected.

Popular website tracker, DownDetector – shows data from all around the world – has also claimed multiple outages that were reported at around 5 PM.

Gmail users came across error messages saying, “We’re sorry, but your account is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes. You can view the G Suite Status Dashboard for the current status of the service.”

Meanwhile, several users have reported that the services are accessible via the incognito mode on their respective browsers.
