The Guwahati frontier of the Border Security Force (BSF) conducted a civic action programme at Bara Madhushudhan Rupeshwar Roy Higher Secondary School under Cooch Behar district in West Bengal.

The programme was inaugurated by Brigadier (Retired) R S Rawat, DIG(VSM) of  Sector HQ Falakata in the presence of Upendra Rai,  Commandant of  47 Bn BSF along with 04 officers, subordinate officers and jawans.

During the program, thermometers, masks and soaps were distributed among the border villagers.

“It is worthwhile to mention that Guwahati Frontier BSF is following the norms set by WHO as well as the Govt. of India to counter the  COVID -19. During the distribution of above items they also briefed the villagers about preventing measures to contain the spread of Corona Virus,” stated an official press release issued by the public relations officer (PRO) of BSF Guwahati frontier.
