The COVID-19 death toll touched the 100-mark in Sikkim after one person succumbed to the virus on Monday. An 89-year-old man with co-morbid conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, died of the infection

The COVID-19 death toll touched the 100-mark in Sikkim after one person succumbed to the virus on Monday.

An 89-year-old man with co-morbid conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, died of the infection at the STNM Hospital.

The state registered 14 new cases in the past 24 hours, taking the overall tally to 4,736.

The total active cases in the state stand at 230. While, 4,320 patients have recovered from the disease so far.

A total of 61,135 samples, including 48 samples have been tested in Sikkim in the past 24 hours.
