The poll dates for the Bodo Territorial Council elections were announced by the State Election Commission on Tuesday. The elections will be conducted in two phases.

The first phase of the elections will be held for constituencies falling under Udalguri and Baksa district on December 7 (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM), while Kokrajhar and Chirang district will go to polls on December 10 (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM) in the second phase.

The counting of votes for both phases has been slated for December 12.
