Leader of the Opposition in Nagaland and veteran Naga People’s Front (NPF) leader TR Zeliang has said that issue of separate flag and constitution is not negotiable, as per Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
‘One nation, one flag’ and ‘one nation, one constitution’ is the idea behind the stand of the centre.
However, Zeliang added that the Government of India has entrusted an IB team to work out an acceptable formula on the separate flag and constitution issue and once that is done, the ruling and opposition should come together to convince the negotiating groups, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Zeliang.
