An 8-feet tall statue of Buddhist leader Guru Kunzang Thuk-Thik has been consecrated at Bomdila Pass in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh.
West Kameng is now adorned with the installation of an eight feet tall statue of Guru Kunzang Thuk-Thik at the famous Bomdila Pass.
Guru Kunzang Thuk-Thik is believed to be one of the incarnations of the 8th-century Buddhist master, Guru Padmasambhava of Nalanda University, who is also known as Guru Rinpoche as per Himalayan Buddhist tradition.
Speaking on the occasion, Tulku Rinpoche of Pema Ling Monastery said that the statue would benefit all sentient beings, especially commuters passing through Bomdila Pass.
