Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday inaugurated ‘Lohitanjali’, a weeklong plasma donation drive organised by Junior Doctors’ Association with National Health Mission (NHM), Assam.
In view of rising COVID-19 patients, Sarma inaugurated the plasma donation drive at a programme held at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
“Request recovered patients to come forward for the noble cause & help us combat the pandemic,” the health minister stated in a tweet.
